In order to maintain the quality construction and durability of your manufactured home, proper site preparation is necessary prior to delivery of your new home to your site. The delivery truck must be able to reach the site. The site must be as level as possible, well-graded and sloped to allow water runoff. The area where the home will sit must be clear of trees, rocks, and other debris. Fill soil must be compacted to prevent the foundation from sinking or shifting.
The next step is to pour foundations to comply with local building codes and manufacturer specifications regarding dimensional tolerances, central support locations as well as the types of anchoring/bracing used. Those who know what's what in the manufactured home world will tell you that the foundation is everything. We also offer sidewalks and driveways. Depending on your location and needs, site preparation may include electric, plumbing, air conditioning, well and septic, power and cable hook-ups.
